New job is awesome

Thu Jun 4, 2009, 3:37 PM
Not even a month working and already I've been bumped up to a better position. The pay won't increase per se, but there is commission. There's so many ways to earn extra money it's not even funny, and they're all insanely simple. Training ended today, there's just the transitional week, then it's off to overtime and extra income. The class started grating on my nerves, especially when I realized there were people in there who couldn't understand the most simple of concepts, and once they did, remembered it for all of a couple of days. It took 3 weeks to teach us something I could have learned and mastered in a few days. But I digress, the money is more than worth it. Also my birthday is in 3 days, turning 25. The only thing I plan on doing is sitting on my lazy ass playing video games and talking to the most beautiful woman in the world.

Still kicking

I've been working at my new job for a couple of weeks now, and it's gonna be easy. It's one of those jobs you know won't be fun but every time payday comes around it all becomes easier to take lol. I also got rid of my cell phone, the verizon pre-paid plan is expensive and I didn't want to shell out 60 bucks a month for limited phone usage anymore. Now it's all unlimited for a flat fee and that makes things so much easier. It'll only be a matter of months before I get a place of my own again, someplace nice unlike the apartments I had in waco. Found a new church I like-Lifepointe I believe is what it's called. I loved listening to the pastor, still don't think he was up there for an hour, seemed more like 15 minutes or so lol.

Rough Times

So thanks to the economy I had to move in with my dad and start saving for a new apartment. But considering where he lives I'll find a job in no time, start banking for a while, then I plan to go see my girl. If anybody has any tips for getting a visa (it's London) then please get in touch with me. I don't care what kind, I just wanna be a citizen so I can stay and not have to come back to this country.

Merry Christmas and happy new year

I'm back from my holiday family visits, hope everybody enjoyed their holidays. I'm returning with a REALLY nice videocamera, so now I can finally start all the video projects I've planned, which means there won't be as much 3D and writing. What I want to do is get a Winter-een-mas video done in the next week or two to give me time to upload it. I've heard horror stories about youtube, if anybody has any feedback I'd appreciate it.

Time for a news update

Journal Entry: Wed Sep 24, 2008, 7:05 PM
So much to do, so little time.

First of all, today was mine and my girl's anniversary, so I thought I'd share that with you. For those of you who enjoy reading The Lathraki, I'm actually gonna get off my lazy ass and either finish it or write another installment. The entire thing is based off of dreams, and since I've killed the thing in my dreams, the third installment will most likely be the last. The only problem is this: the final dream, where I kill this thing, affected me so badly that I couldn't sleep for a few days. I tried, but couldn't get more than an hour or two a night. That being said, I really don't want to remember it, so you're probably not gonna get much that's true to life (or dream) in the third part. On the same note, lately I've had some ideas swimming around in my head, and might just have to put them on paper. I've always loved to read horror, and I can only hope my writing has been able to give some of you a good scare.
